I’ve seen a lot of bloggers putting together these ‘holy grail’ makeup posts, and so I thought it would be fun to do one of my own. However, to make it a little more interesting, I’ve teamed up with the lovely Hannah from Not Another Blog and Emily from Emily Rose, who I met at the last Lush Blogger Event in Exeter.

When it comes to my makeup routine, I’m the type of gal who likes to mix things up and try out new products. I mean, when you’re a beauty blogger it’s part of the job, right? However, I do have my go-to makeup products that I am totally besotted with. These are the products that honestly, I couldn’t see myself living without. I might mix up my makeup routine every once in a while, but these are the products that I always seem to come back to.

Clinique Chubby In The Nude Foundation Stick

This is a product that is relatively new to my makeup bag – I purchased it back in June for the first time, but it’s a product that now, I honestly couldn’t live without. Until I tried Clinique Chubby In The Nude Foundation Stick, I’d always used liquid foundation, but once I made the change to ‘stick’ foundation, I knew I could never go back. It’s just so much quicker and easier to apply, plus it gives just the right amount of coverage for me – light, natural looking coverage. The fact it’s easily portable, I don’t have to worry about spillages, and a little goes a long way, makes the price of £23 per stick much more appealing, or at least, for me it does.

Smashbox Soft Lights Illuminizer Luminizer

From the moment I first tried Smashbox’s products, I fell utterly and completely in love with them. The first product I tried was Smashbox Blush / Soft Lights Duo in Supermodel – from the moment I first used this, I was hooked. Unfortunately, Smashbox discontinued the Blush / Soft Lights Duo and replaced it with Baked Fusion Soft Lights, so when mine ran out I couldn’t get another one. Luckily for me however, I was able to get my hands on a Soft Lights Illuminizer Luminizer in Supermodel (which made up half of the original duo product), so that’s my current go-to illuminator, and I love it. – it creates such a beautiful pink-hued highlight without being too shimmery.

Olivia Palermo x Ciate Satin Kiss Lipstick

Last Christmas – Christmas 2015, I was shopping the sales in TKMaxx and found this bad boy nestled amongst the makeup brushes and couldn’t believe my luck. What I love about this lipstick is that it’s so wonderfully creamy and pigmented, but has a subtle nude tone to it, making it perfect for me and my pale skin. I love this lipstick because it goes with any look, thanks to its pretty nude rose tone.

Beauty UK Conceal & Correct Concealer

I teamed up with Beauty UK last year to share some of their fantastic products with you, since then I have continued to use them and couldn’t be more pleased with the results Before I tested out Beauty UK’s Conceal & Correct Concealer, I was thinking of purchasing Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Concealer, but I am so pleased with how Beauty UK’s dupe works that there’s no need to. What I love about this concealer is how easy to apply and blend it is and how it offers such fantastic coverage, even masking dark under eye bags. It’s light, gives a natural finish, and best of all is budget friendly at just £2.99 per tube.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Eyeshadows Matte

Last but not least, my final holy grail product has to be my Makeup Revolution Ultra Eyeshadow Matte palette. Admittedly, it’s a drugstore product not a high-end palette, but I just love how pretty and pigmented the shades are, they’re also surprisingly creamy and super easy to apply. Plus, the fact that this palette has so many shades to choose from, making it perfect for creating almost any look, makes it a must-have for me. Honestly, I couldn’t be without this palette – it’s a great size, has some incredible colours, and is budget-friendly – what more could you want?

So there you have it, the makeup products I just can’t live without. Don’t forget to head over to Hannah and Emily’s blogs, to see what makeup products they swear by…
