Like so many others, I am passionate about travel, both abroad and in the UK. One of my favourite places in the whole world has to be London; I love the hustle and bustle and the fact that there’s always something exciting going on. If you’re planning on traveling to the UK, this is one city you have to visit.

Of course, if you’re going to visit, there’s only one way to do it, and that’s in style. There are plenty of accommodation options in London, from budget motels to exclusive hotels, so whatever your budget there will be somewhere suitable. A short stroll from Knightsbridge, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace, The Lanesborough offers 93 rooms and suites. Back in 2003, this high profile hotel underwent refurbishment and was reduced to a shell, and then meticulously transformed by none other than Alberto Pinto, one of the world’s most famous interior designers. Thanks to this makeover, the hotel is now able to offer some of the very best hotel rooms in the world. One of their suites costs £18,000 to rent per night, and comes complete with a chauffeur driven Rolls Royce, a private butler and a range of other benefits. The rates for their rooms might be high, but the good news is that you can save on your booking by using this Terravision promo code. The restaurants in this fine hotel offer a range of beautiful dishes and a varied menu. So if you choose to dine in, you’ll be seriously spoilt for choice.

One Aldwych

Another hotel situated in the lively Covent Garden area, One Aldwych offers over 100 bedrooms and suites, all decorated meticulously. The triangular building which houses the hotel is one of great interest to many, before it became a hotel, it had many different uses. If you’re into art and love the contemporary look, this is the perfect place for you. Throughout the hotel, in rooms, restaurants and lobbies, there is an array of modern art works on show. Each room comes with a beautiful view and unique design, and of course, a stunning flower display. One of the hotel’s defining features is the incredible flower displays throughout the building, created by in-house florist, Mark Siredzuk.

There are of course, many other luxurious hotels in London but these are five of the very best. They might not come cheap, but if you can afford it, why not treat yourself? I know that if I could, I would love to spend a night in each of these beautifully unique hotels.
