If you’re an eczema sufferer, then you’ll know that with the colder weather comes eczema outbreaks. At least, for me, that’s the case. I come from a family of eczema sufferers and have grown up with this itchy and irritating skin condition. Luckily for me, I’m not someone who has it constantly, but every so often I have a flare up.

As it happens, the onset of the cooler autumn weather has caused my skin to flare up and become red, itchy and sore. Fortunately, I’ve been sent a tube of Graham’s Natural Kids Eczema Cream to test out. This topical emollient that’s formulated especially for babies and children is made up of all-natural ingredients, making it a product after my own heart.

You see, I’m someone who, wherever possible, always prefers to use products that are natural. This is simply because of how chemicals affect my skin and make eczema flare ups worse. I normally use aloe vera products to treat and prevent eczema flare ups, but I’m always up for testing out new products.

Let’s talk packaging

The packaging of this product is brightly coloured and made up of yellow, green and blue. Obviously, as this product is for babies and children, the bright colours make a lot of sense. The product is packaged inside a tube that’s stored in a box. The tube the cream is housed in is a simple squeezy tube with a clip down lid. I’m a fan of squeezy creams as it’s easy to control the amount of product that you get out of them.

What are my thoughts on the product itself?

The cream has little to no smell to it and is a thick and creamy consistency. What I like about it is that it doesn’t sting or smart when applied. Compared to other eczema products that I’ve used, the cream soaks in fairly quickly. The shea butter in the cream means that it’s deeply hydrating without feeling too heavy or greasy – heavy cream is a pet hate of mine. What I love about this product is the fact that it left my skin feeling soft and silky smooth for hours after I applied it. It even kept the itching at bay – impressed is an understatement.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, I would definitely recommend it. Because it’s gentle and doesn’t sting when applied, for eczema sufferers of all ages, it’s perfect. Plus, it’s affordably priced, lasts well, and gives good results.
