The Blogger’s Beauty Brawl Is Back Again!

This time last year, the Blogger’s Christmas Beauty Brawl was born. It was the brainchild of the lovely Zoe from Makeup Mad and I. (Zoe no longer blogs, hence why she’s not involved anymore.)

Back then, I had only just launched La Blog Beaute and was still tentatively finding my feet. I found that the first beauty brawl gave me the kick up my backside that I needed to blog more regularly, and I am so glad that it did. A year on, and I couldn’t be prouder of how my little corner of the internet has grown.

I loved the first beauty brawl so much that in the summer I ran a summer one – Blogger’s Beauty Brawl: 10 Days Of Summer. As that was such a success, I decided to bring back the Blogger’s Christmas Beauty Brawl again this December.

What is the Blogger’s Christmas Beauty Brawl?

In case you haven’t read my beauty brawl posts before, I’ll just explain a little bit about what it is…

The Blogger’s Christmas Beauty Brawl is a review series that runs for 10 days during December, starting on December 1st. How it works is that a group of beauty bloggers, including myself, agree to review a product a day using a set of predetermined criteria – packaging, price, and the product quality. Each day we review a different product type, for instance, day one is moisturiser.

Now for the fun part… We score each product out of 100 for the three predetermined criteria, using a Top Trump-style card. Of course, anyone who wants to can pop a more in-depth review underneath the Top Trump-style card.
